This past weekend’s beautiful wedding was at St. Thomas More University Parish and Student Center and University of Oklahoma’s Memorial Union Ballroom. Picture southwest charm, stunning blue and white Parisan decor, and a bride and groom with the most joyful smiles!
The couple got ready at the beautiful NOUN Hotel. The details McKenzie had were stunning, and her family and bridesmaids were so sweet and happy for her. Tanner and his groomsmen were a great crew as well – I love how their walk-up photos turned out!
Tanner & McKenzie shared a touching first look moment outside the church, where they read letters to each other and McKenzie gifted Tanner some custom cufflinks. They even got to have a sweet moment with their toddler son. St. Thomas More is absolutely gorgeous and special to the couple – it’s the place where Tanner attended his first Catholic Mass and also where he became Catholic in 2024! The beautiful fresco details by the altar made the perfect backdrop for their ceremony Mass, complete with plenty of incense. We took some time after the Mass to get portraits around the church before heading to their reception.
The Oklahoma University ballroom looked stunning with the blue and white french toile theme, based on their engagement trip to Paris! The mix of tall floral centerpieces with shorter vases added some nice dimension to the room. The tiered 3 cake table looked so elegant too. McKenzie and Tanner incorporated their son into their details by having a signature blueberry lemonade drink for him and by have a “first family dance” after their introductions. We ended the night with a private last dance and a ribbon LED light wand exit into the sunset. It was a wonderful night and I’m so honored they flew me all the way to Oklahoma to capture their wedding – congratulations to the Martins!
