Nevada & Chandler were so much fun to photograph during their engagement session at Kennesaw Mountain! The weather was perfect and we had a total blast together. The grass fields looked so beautiful and, in spite of feeling initially nervous, these two lovebirds were a breeze to photograph.
Nevada and Chandler met while working at Chick-fil-a and are now getting married this coming fall. I noticed right away that Chandler is absolutely head over heels for his fiancé. That’s always so cute to see as a photographer – it’s not often that guys are so readily affectionate and unashamed to gush over their ladies!
Originally, we were supposed to shoot this session in early May, but the early summer rainy weather kept pushing it back. All was well though – the weather was beautiful and the greens had mellowed by the time we finally got to shoot. A few daisies even poked up here and there. I love shooting engagement sessions at Kennesaw Mountain. There is a subtle romanticism to the gently rolling hills and tall grass that makes it feel cinematic. It’s almost like that once scene from the 2005 version of Pride & Prejudice (iykyk). I always suggest this spot to couples and I’m so glad they picked it. We had so much fun together, and their love was easy to document! I absolutely love that they picked white neutral outfits too.
