For Caroline and Nick’s engagement session, we decided to head back to Piedmont Park in Atlanta, where Nicholas proposed to Caroline. This park held a special place in their hearts, and it was where they had made a commitment to spend the rest of their lives together. Initially, Caroline fell in love with Nicholas’s patience, and he was captivated by her sense of humor and unconditional love.
Caroline and Nicholas’s love story began at Georgia Tech, where they first met and instantly hit it off. As their wedding photographer, it was so much fun getting to know more of their relationship through my lens.
We shot their session during golden hour, but the sun decided to hide behind the clouds on this incredibly windy and cold day!! This didn’t phase these two cuties one bit though – they snuggled, giggled, and ran anywhere I asked them to. They were both naturals in front of the camera, which made the session so much more fun and relaxed. As we walked around Piedmont Park, we found so many great spots to capture the couple’s engagement.
The park was full of beautiful spring trees and flowers, which provided a stunning backdrop for the photos. Caroline’s smile lit up the park, and Nicholas couldn’t take his eyes off her. They both radiated happiness and joy, and it was so special to be able to capture these moments for them. If you see them anytime soon, make sure to ask Nicholas about popping champagne 😉
As we wrapped up the session, I felt incredibly grateful to have been a part of such a special moment in their lives. Caroline and Nicholas are set to tie the knot in the fall at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with their reception at Glover Park Brewery in Marietta. I am excited to capture every moment of their big day and to document the beginning of their forever together!!
