A & H | St. Catherine of Siena & Pinetree Country Club Wedding

Alexandra and Hunter were married this past spring at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and had their wedding reception at the local Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw. It was a stunning wedding day, with powder blue and rose pink accents, tons of joy, and gorgeous spring weather.

Alexandra and her girls got ready at an Airbnb in Acworth, where we did some getting ready and bride and bridesmaid photos. Isn’t her veil divine? I love a long, beautiful veil! Hunter and the guys got ready at Hunter’s home and then we all traveled to the church after. Hunter had some sweet gifts for Alexandra (including a special wedding day rosary), and they shared a private, no-look prayer moment together before the wedding Mass. Alexandra and her dad shared a first look and it was a beautiful and emotional moment.

Their St. Catherine of Siena wedding Mass was so beautiful! Their wedding day was during the octave of Easter, so the church was beautifully decorated with the Easter flowers. They had so many people show up in love and support for them. It was so touching to see so many people rejoice and pray for this awesome couple. Alexandra is a ray of sunshine, and we got to know each other really well during our planning process, so this wedding felt extra joyful for me! After their Mass, we had some fun taking photos in the beautiful windows of St. Catherine, and then headed to the reception.

Pinetree Country Club is a great wedding venue for any future St. Catherine of Siena bride. The proximity to the church makes it so easy for your guests and really cuts down on travel time. There were a lot of great spots for wedding party and couple portraits. The layout inside the event space is unique, but doesn’t feel crowded. Alexandra and Hunter decided to have the chairs covered, and I think it brightened up the space nicely! Alexandra wanted a romantic, chinoiserie feel to the space and a fun event.

Their wedding reception was so much fun, with lots of laughter and a full dance floor the whole night. We got to sneak out for sunset photos on the golf course too. There’s something about golden hour photos on a golf course — they’re always the best! After a private last dance and an LED wand exit, the newlyweds began their new life together.

Congratulations to the Wittkes, it was such a joy to work with you!!
