Richelle and Johnny had their Acworth Georgia wedding at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church and a reception at The Conservatory at Waterstone in beautiful downtown Acworth. This wedding day was near and dear to my heart. Our family attends St. Clare as parishioners and my husband and I’s wedding reception was at the Conservatory as well! It was special for both of us to come back here.
Richelle got ready at a nearby salon and we met at St. Clare in Acworth to start their wedding day. They leaned into a rustic and romantic aesthetic, with red & white roses, vintage wedding bands, and candle and lantern centerpieces. After their wedding Mass, we met at a nearby park to take wedding party and couple’s portraits. The sunlight peeked out from the winter clouds at just the right moment!
The Conservatory was the perfect venue for their reception! I love this venue — their all-inclusive packages make it easy for busy brides who don’t want to curate every wedding detail. The elegant brick interior and wrought iron details provide a cozy atmosphere. Also, the staff is always kind and very attentive. You have to love the two story balcony for watching the dance floor too! Johnny and Richelle’s guests happily danced the afternoon away before the newlyweds left with a ribbon wand to Johnny’s bright red Mustang.
